A basement slab can look dry while transmitting water vapour. Testing and system selection must account for this. Water infiltration, water pressure or a building issue cannot simply be solved with an epoxy coating.

Does epoxy stop moisture?
Not by itself. A compatible mitigation system may be considered following testing, but it does not replace fixing water infiltration.
Is it suitable for a home gym?
It is a firm surface. Compatible mats can improve comfort and protect weight areas after the coating has fully cured.
