01

Keep the substrate when it makes sense.

Adhesion, rigidity, seams, edges and sink cutouts are assessed before resurfacing is proposed. Swollen, unstable or water-damaged countertops may need replacement. A coating does not correct structural problems.

02

A pattern that is never repeated.

Pigments can create a stone-inspired finish, quiet movement or a more expressive composition. A sample helps establish the visual direction, but a hand-applied resin pattern cannot be duplicated exactly.

03

Beautiful, with sensible care.

Use cutting boards and trivets. Wipe spills promptly and avoid abrasive cleaners. Heat resistance, scratch resistance and suitability for food contact depend on the exact product and its cure: these points must be confirmed for your system.

The right questions

Before you begin.

Can I place a hot pan directly on it?

We always recommend a trivet. Concentrated, prolonged heat can mark a coating even when the manufacturer provides a heat-resistance rating.

Is resurfacing cheaper than a new countertop?

It depends on preparation, design and cutouts. Compare complete estimates and the actual condition of the substrate, not just the apparent material cost.
